In each of us, there may lie a Nuptse — a symbol of the inner spirit of exploration. Inspired by the climbing experiences on Nuptse, part of Mount Qomolangma, 380.49 hPa is a panoramic art project that celebrates the spirit of discovery and the climber’s mindset. Through the lens of new media and technology, this work returns to the primal essence of physical particles. By immersing the audience in a surreal, virtual reality experience, it creates a landscape that feels closer to nature’s core. The piece unfolds through musical chapters, virtual environments, and soundscapes, weaving the rhythms and fragments of a climber’s journey. Ultimately, 380.49 hPa evokes a profound spiritual resonance, blending art and technology to echo the fearless essence of exploration, connecting deeply with the natural world.
