
The immersive art exhibition Aurorae, curated by global curatorial initiative capitArtX, reimagines Womanhood as an inclusive and expansive concept, showcasing artists of all gender identities and reflecting diverse expressions and perspectives on femininity. Featuring a remarkable lineup of global artists: Alice Aires, Anastasia Skabelkina, Beryl Bilici, Cara Macwilliam, Connie Bakshi, Diana Chicaiza AKA The Klimate, Dilara Baskoylu, Fuat Degirmenci, Infinite Mantra, Irem Coban, Karlos Gil, Laura Buechner, Liu Jiayu, Lottevont, Regina Kim, Studio Above&Below, Tatsuru Arai, Unknownian , Valeria Del Vacchio, and Vesna Petresin and the exhibition combines innovative digital technologies with special art events to present unique narratives of femininity and womanhood through a vibrant and colourful aesthetic, offering a dynamic experience for contemporary art audiences. With bold colours, immersive visuals, and sophisticated storytelling—using mediums ranging from Virtual Reality to AI-generated art—the artists explore compelling themes such as ecology, human-machine interaction, and identity from a feminine perspective. Here, art and technology intersect, providing a fresh perspective on how femininity takes form in the digital age.
Aurorae’s head curator is Isil Ezgi Celik. The media curators are Irem Coban and Esra Ozkan, while the event curator is Alisa Lisovskaia. Special artistic contributions come from Elizaveta Bogachova& Harshini J. Karunaratne and Lena Biresch.
